2018: The Revenge of the Ugly Stick

It sure looks like the menace of the ugly stick has stealthily plotted its revenge, unleashing a goodly portion of its unholy terror on a sleeping, unsuspecting public in 2018. Some of these models may well be good-performing firearms, perhaps excellent: it is too early to say. As much as I rub my eyes, the invasive repugnancy of the product imagery just doesn't go away.

As a friend of mine liked to say, it is all "very impressive." Smooth, flowing lines and general aesthetic value increasingly hard to find. Does everything just have to look like Hasbro and Mattel?
