Savage Fields "World Cup" Team
Savage
Arms, for the first time ever, has decided to field a 10ML-II shooting
team at the NMLRA "World Manufacturer's Cup" held at Friendship,
Indiana. The Home of the National Muzzle Loading Rifle Association
is at http://www.nmlra.org/
where you can find all the details on this year's events.
More
information will be posted as it becomes available. The Savage Team
will be shooting either blackpowder or substitutes as per the NMLRA
rules, of course. Not many folks realize that the "World's
Greatest Muzzleloader" is equally at home with Triple Se7en
and other subs as it is with smokeless-- the Savage is the only
muzzleloader ever made where blackpowder, Pyrodex pellets, Pyrodex
loose powder, Triple Se7en pellets, Triple 7 FFg loose powder, Accurate
Arms 5744, Vihtavuori N110, and Hodgdon / IMR SR4759 are all
factory recommended propellants. Never before has the muzzleloading
hunter had more choices, or a better-tested, stronger, or better-built
hunting tool to get the job done with.
Regardless
of propellant, you have the Savage weatherproof sealed action that
burns no scopes, Savage's award-winning AccuTrigger, dual pillar
bedding and a recoil lug, 100% proof-tested barrels, the fastest
lock-time of any muzzleloader ever made, and a bolt that never needs
disassembly or cleaning.
Scopes,
bases, and rings are all by Burris
Optics. More details to follow!
